Away from you I feel aloof from the world
For it was your touch in my life that shone so bright,
Darkness dawned slowly I never realized
Your absence in my life made it obvious.
Not a single time did you try to console me?
That made me cry more and more did I feel
Alone just left all by myself
None to rub the dust on the life’s shelf.
Earlier days not so ruthless
Why does it happen as time passes by?
Love fades away and ego gets over
The upper hand to rule heart that is flawless
Nothing can I do without you
Here I will wait for ages through,
Longing for the touch that made me feel
That I am made just for you.
